My name is Angel Mary
My on stage experience started as a young girl when I ran onto stage at age 3 asking the President of the Hudson Valley Malayalee Association if I could sing a song. My father soon recognized I lacked the fear of stage fright and began training me in memorizing and presenting speeches for various competitions throughout my childhood. This photo was taken in the early 1980's when I delivered one of my first speeches in a public speaking competition. I went on to receive 1st place not only at this Malayalee Association meeting, but 1st place at numerous contests across the nation throughout my childhood.
As a first generation Indian American woman, I use my platform to shared my lived experience working and climbing the corporate ladder. My background in sectors such as Retail, Government, Finance, and Healthcare allows for a dynamic and nuanced look at common problems.
It took time to find my way as I moved across multiple industries. Along the way, I learned many valuable lessons, including what type of mindset you need when you move from entry level into a leadership role. In 2022, I started the Career Path Angel podcast as a way to share the knowledge myself and other titans of industry have learned and want to pass to the next generation of leaders.
My acute experience as a Southeast Asian Malayalee Indian American brings forward a diverse voice not seen often. When I speak to an audience, it is important to me that I know and understand what it is that is valuable to that core group. Then I work to craft my message so it resonates with the audience.

Graduated with Distinction with a Masters in Business Administration from Hofstra University and then was promoted into leadership as a manager.
Started entry level in Healthcare Sector at major NYC hospital.
Began career as Realtor in the NY Metro Area while simultaneously studying for Professional Chocolatier Certification and then opened home based chocolate business.
Worked for the State of Florida in Accounting then moved into Contract Management, then moved to NY to begin career in Finance.
